Oliver P. Heisey

Oliver Peters Heisey died peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on July 19, 2016.  Oliver was born on May 25, 2016 at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with a severe congenital heart defect.  During his short time here on Earth, he touched many lives and was deeply loved by family and friends.  Oliver’s strength was unwavering, even in his final moments.  His smile brought joy and happiness to everyone he met, especially his parents.

Oliver is the son of Edwin and Nicole Heisey, and the brother of Hudson Heisey of Lancaster, PA.  His paternal grandparents are Cliff and Deborah Heisey of Columbia, PA.  His maternal grandparents are John Hundley and Pat Kennedy of Hockessin, DE and Pat Hundley of Mount Gretna, PA.

Oliver is also survived by great grandmothers, Ella Kline Miller of Columbia, PA and Barbara Hallman of Sellersville, PA; uncles, Jonathan Hundley of Lititz, PA and Zack Heisey, husband of Beth Heisey, of Maumee, OH; aunt, Amanda Logeman, wife of Bill Logeman, of Lititz, PA; cousins, Eleanor Heisey, Ethan Hundley, Carter Hundley and Mia Ponessa.  In addition, Oliver is survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

Oliver was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Betty Peters Hundley, Albert Hundley, and Edward Kline.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 31 South Duke Street, Lancaster, PA with Pastor Timothy Mentzer officiating.  A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.  Interment will follow the service at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery, 435 Manor Avenue, Millersville, PA.  In lieu of flowers, please send contributions the Ronald McDonald Houses in Philadelphia, PA and Camden, NJ.
