Ora S. Wubbels
Ora S. Wubbels, 95, of 1620 Lititz Pike, Lancaster died Friday, January 11, 2013 at home.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Jay Walter Strine and Amelia Rickenbach Strine. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Maurice J. Wubbels, who died in April of 1995. Also, she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include her children: a daughter, Kathryn, wife of Joseph Arabia of Matawan, NJ; a son, Alan, husband of Wendy Schultz Wubbels of Williamsburg, VA; and a son, Kenneth, husband of Cynthia Johnson Wubbels of Brownstown, PA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
A graduate of Trenton State Teachers’ College, she taught in New Jersey public schools and substitute taught in Manheim Township schools. She was a founding and active member of the Lancaster Christadelphian Ecclesia.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 14, 11:00 am at the Christadelphian Chapel, 60 Buch Ave. in Neffsville with burial at the adjacent cemetery. The family will gather to greet friends at 10:30 am at the chapel.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601.
