Parke D. Wilson, Jr., 56, of Lancaster, died unexpectedly at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, on Friday, January 16, 2015.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Park D., Sr. and Evelyn McVey Wilson.
Parke was employed by Rental World and prior to that had been employed by J & J Plumbing for many years. He enjoyed working part-time at the Lancaster Barnstormers for the past few years.
His interests included hunting, fishing, hiking, baseball, and following the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed spending time with friends at Stubby’s Bar and Grill.
Surviving are two sons, John W. Wilson and Jeremy C. Wilson both of Lancaster; and a sister, Jody Chieffo of Coatesville. He was preceded in death by a son, Parke Wilson III.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 22, at 8:00 P.M. at the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Gregory McKim officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
