Paul E. Beecher

Paul E. Beecher, 88, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Quarryville Retirement Home. He was the loving husband of Lucille Beecher with whom he shared 44 years of marriage.

Born in Wrightsville, Paul was the son of Paul A. and Verna (Kraft) Beecher.

In addition to his wife, he will be lovingly missed by his son, Jason, married to Julie, of Fairfax, VA, and his granddaughter Mia.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1950-1954 and was stationed aboard the USS Arcadia in Italy.

Paul enjoyed reading mysteries, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to his Memorial Service on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 750 Greenfield Rd. Lancaster, PA 17601. The family will greet at 10:30 am until the time of service. Interment will be in the church memorial garden.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church in memory of Paul E. Beecher.
