Paul R. Dale, 47, of East Petersburg, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.
He would have been married 10 years to Lori Verespy Dale on March the 3
rd
. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Richard E. Dale of Lititz, and the late Jean Lee Miley Dale.
Paul had worked as a custodian for the Hempfield School District for the past five years. Prior to that he had worked for Bird-In-Hand Woodworks for 22 years. He was a graduate of Warwick High School and enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, spending time at the beach and cheering for the Eagles.
Surviving besides his wife and father is a daughter, Abigail Rose Dale; and a sister, Tammy wife of Bruce Jumbelick of Denver, PA.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 27, at 11:00 A.M. at the Manheim Brethren In Christ Church, 54 N. Penryn Road, Manheim, PA with Pastor Bill Melone officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 10:00A.M. until the time of the service. Everyone is invited to attend a graveside service on Monday at 9:00 A.M. at Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 Second Lock Road, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the DeBord Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 to offset Paul’s funeral expenses.
