Paul W. Kilp, 83, of Lancaster, died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster County. He was married 62 years to Nancy L. Wolfe Kilp. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Paul C. and Grace E. Durborow Kilp. Paul retired from the Lancaster Office of the American Automobile Association where he had worked for more than 45 years. He was a graduate of the Quarryille High School and received an associate
degree from York College. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea after World War II. Paul was a member of the Hamilton Park United Church of Christ and enjoyed golfing, fishing, music, following the Baltimore Orioles and spending time with his family. Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Melissa K. wife of Robert Ellison of Jarrettsville, MD and Julia A. Klarquist of York; two grandchildren, Thomas A. Ellison and Caroline E. Ellison. He was preceded in death by a sister Betty Miller. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hamilton Park United Church of Christ, 1210 Maple Avenue,
Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Catherine M. Shiley officiating. Friends may greet the family following the service. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family in the Memorial Gardens at Hamilton Park Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Hamilton Park United Church of Christ, 1210 Maple Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603.
