Pearl Norma McCann of Lancaster, passed away peacefully in Moravian Manor, Lititz, on July 5, 2024, surrounded by her three children. Born on August 18, 1928 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Lillie Jackson Neff and Albert William Neff. Norma graduated from Frankford High School in Philadelphia, married her sweetheart Dick McCann, and moved to Lancaster in 1960 where they built their house and raised their children.
Norma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A selfless woman who lived her life guided by her strong faith. She always put others first and served as a role model for her family and friends. Norma was an active long-standing member of First United Methodist Church of Lancaster. She loved singing in the church choir and community choruses. She enjoyed attending the theater, volunteering, eating all things chocolate, and staying connected with her many friends. After retiring from Donnelley Printing the travel bug bit her and she saw much of the world and always exclaimed how blessed she was to have visited so many countries. But her favorite place was Ocean City, NJ while surrounded by her extended family. Norma remained playful and engaged with her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Richard. She is survived by her sons Richard (Sandra), and John, and daughter Barbara Greiner (Jeffrey), eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
