Polly Ann Hoover Myers
Polly Ann Hoover Myers, 83, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 14, 2015.
She was the wife of the late Paul L. Myers who died in 2012. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Catherine Kreider Hoover.
Polly was a homemaker and a longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She enjoyed going out to eat, her cat and dog and spending time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathy L. wife of Harry Houghton of Lititz, and Lori A. wife of Charles Christenson of Doylestown; three sons, Jeffrey P. husband of Barbara Rodman-Myers of Brownstown, Steven C. husband of Jane Myers of Lititz, and Scott D. husband of Michelle Myers of Harrisburg. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a brother Ralph husband of Elizabeth Hoover of Lancaster.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 20154 at 11:00 A.M. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 500 Pearl St., Lancaster, PA with the Rev. David D. Kreider officiating. Friends may call at the DeBord Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in the Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
