R. Arlene (Tappe) Frohnapfel

R. Arlene (Tappe) Frohnapfel, 72, of New Martinsville, WV, entered eternal peace with the Lord on snowy white angel wings, on Monday, March 25, 2013. She was the loving wife of Charles E. Frohnapfel to whom she was married for 51 years.

She was born in Warwood, WV to the late Charles and Doretta Tappe.

Arlene was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Proctor, WV where she was the organist and choir director.

She was president and owner of Aloette Cosmetics of Lancaster and formerly opened the first chapter of Nar-Anon in New Martinsville, WV.

Her favorite hobby was spending time with her loving family on her beloved Frohnapfel farm.

In addition to her husband she is survived by daughters; Lisa Vollrath, Jody Sutton (wife of Gregg), Krista Sultzbach (wife of Ty), Erika Wolf (wife of Rick), Laurissa States, and son; C. Dean Frohnapfel (husband of Kim); 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her older brother Charlie Tappe. She was preceded in death by her sister Johanna Brown.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service at LCBC Church, 2392 Mount Joy Road, Manheim, PA 17545 on Saturday April 13, at 11:00 a.m. with Sonja Waltman officiating. Friends may greet the family on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at RR 1, Proctor, WV 26055.
