Raquel Cerilli

It is with broken hearts and sadness that our family must formally announce the passing of our sweet sister, auntie, friend, Raquel Cerilli (Roxy). She was 72.

Roxy passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 in Lancaster, Pa.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY. She worked as an executive secretary for most of her life in different cities. She lived a full and interesting life with many stories to tell that will now be great memories to keep. She loved a good play and concert. Especially the time she saw Moulin Rouge in Europe. Though she was fancy, she loved her home and farm in Aliquippa, Pa. with her husband Richard, her dogs, cats, chickens,peacocks and Alpacas. Her parties on the farm were legendary.

She was predeceased by the love of her life, her beloved husband, Richard Cerilli, as well as her father, Raphael Figueroa, her mother, Elena Rivera, her sister Priscilla Figueroa, and her brothers, Robert, Rubin and Richard Figueroa.

She leaves behind, her sisters, Nilda Figueroa, Roseanne Huffman (Reggie Huffman) and Sonia Dudas (Scott Dudas) as well as her brothers, Raphael Figueroa (Ramona Figueroa) and Albert Figueroa (Wendy Figueroa) a host of nephews and nieces as well as her loving in-laws, The Cerilli Family, of Monaca, PA and a long list of dear friends.

Roxy was a perfect combination of an elegant lady slipper and a colorful wildflower.  She was a generous, spitfire of a woman.  She will be missed by us all.
