Rena M. (Miller) Weaver
Rena M. (Miller) Weaver, 78 of Lancaster, PA died on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy, PA. Born on “Cabbage Hill” in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late George N. and Annabel (Schickel) Miller.
A graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School¸ she worked for many years at Alcoa.
She is survived by twin daughters, Karen L., wife of Leo H. Eckert, Jr. of Millersville and Sharon L., wife of Robert S. Duncan of Cathedral City, CA; a son, Irvin G. Weaver, Jr.; five grandchildren, Kenneth, Amy, Chelsea, Kaila and Carlee; three great-grandchildren, Morgan, Dillon and Kullen; a sister, Deloris A., wife of Richard G. Kirchoff of Lititz; one niece and one nephew. She was predeceased by a son, Dale E. Weaver.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service from St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 700 Pleasure Rd., Lancaster, PA 17601 on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jillian Riddle officiating. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Memorial Gardens of St. Matthew Church.
