Rev. Dr. C. Vincent Wilson

Former pastor and servant, the Rev. C. Vincent Wilson died October 12, 2015 in Lancaster, PA.  Vince was born in 1931, in western PA to Ralph Scott Wilson and Mae Golle Wilson.  He graduated from Grove City College and then married his high school sweetheart, Connie Ermlich.  During seminary, he served two small churches and then took a position at Mercersburg Presbyterian Church.  In 1960, he started a campus ministry program at Indiana PA State Teachers College.  He ministered at Elderton and Ardmore PA.  While serving a church in Akron, OH, he earned a D. Min degree from McCormick Seminary in Chicago.  In 1980, Dr. Wilson became the senior pastor at the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill, retiring there in 1994. He is survived by his wife; son Robert and daughter Rebecca, wife of Joseph P. Condello, Jr.  The Wilsons have five wonderful grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Thomas Auditorium at Willow Valley Lakes Manor, 300 Willow Valley Lakes Drive, Willow Street, PA 17584, on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to a favorite charity.
