Rev. John B. Graybill

The Rev. John B. Graybill of Homestead Village, Lancaster, PA died December 21, 2018 in his 96th year.  Rev. Graybill was the son of the late Chester S. and Blanche Bushong Graybill of Rohrerstown.  His wife of 70 years, Anne Rudisill Graybill died in 2014.  He is survived by his daughter, Liza Graybill of Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts along with three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Rev. Graybill was a graduate of East Hempfield High School, Wheaton College and Faith Theological Seminary and received his Ph.D. degree in Semitic Studies from Brandeis University.

A Presbyterian minister, he was for many years Professor of Old Testament at Barrington College in Rhode Island.  From 1966-1974 he was Organizing Minister and first pastor of Barrington (Rhode Island) Presbyterian Church.

His declining years were lightened with care by Abby Rudisill, Susie Farrell and especially by Judy Quickel.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service from Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 E. Roseville Rd., Lancaster, PA on, Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11:30 AM. The visitation will begin at 10:30 AM.

Private interment will be held in Conestoga Memorial Park.
