Richard B. “Dick” Imhoff, Sr., 63, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at home. He was the loving husband of Carol M. Wanger Imhoff, his beloved wife of 42 years. Born in Lancaster on December 31, 1946, he was the son of the late Charles B. and Margaret Ream Imhoff.

He was a carpenter by trade, and this was his passion. He was meticulous and skilled in his work and was a dedicated employee of Warfel Construction for the past 6 years. He spent much time using his incredible skills not only building his own home at a young age, but remodeling his sons homes with skill and precision. Dick also enjoyed hunting at his cabin with his sons and close cousin, Robert Martin, and vacationing at the shore.

Imhoff, and Shane M., husband of Jennifer Imhoff; 6 grandchildren, Joseph Hanna, Tyla Zimmerman, Hayley Benyo, Jake Benyo, Lacey Imhoff, and Ashlyn Imhoff.
