Richard E. Pfarr

Richard Eugene Pfarr has passed away at the age of 84. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Gabrellen. Born in New Jersey on October 25 1934, he served time as a Marine on an aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean while in his 20s. Rich was a devoted family man and became a Christian in the ’70s while living with “Jesus People USA” in Chicago where he was a mechanic, among other things. He enjoyed music and the arts, and studied sculpture while living in Mexico. He lived various places including Arizona, California and Solanco.  He loved traveling, cooking, reading, music, and sculpture. He is survived by 5 children and 8 grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Family and friends are invited to: 315 N Prince St. Ruoff Towers, Lancaster, Community room, for a small informal gathering in his memory, Sunday July 7th 1:30-2:30pm.
