Richard J. Zuch, 63, of Lancaster, died Saturday, January 26, 2013.
He was married for 11 years to Bertha L. Edwards Zuch. Born in Dallas, TX he was the son of the late H. Franklin, Jr. and E. Jane Snavely Zuch.
Richard retired from the Bally Grand Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Lancaster and was very active in service for the church. Richard enjoyed living in Lancaster and found great pleasure in exploring all areas of the county. Richard served as a medic in the United States Navy.
Surviving besides his wife is a brother, Franklin husband of Judy Zuch of Ocean City, NJ; three sisters, Barbara wife of George Bevilacqua of Media, Susan wife of Jack Snyder of Ocean City, NJ, and Wendy wife of Matt Martini of Morgantown; also surviving are nieces and nephews and a great niece and two great nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 700 Pleasure Road, Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Jillian Riddle officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in Edgewood Memorial Park, 325 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA on Saturday at 2:00 P.M.. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Zuch’s memory may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 700 Pleasure Road, Lancaster, PA 17601.
