Robert C. Harnish
Robert C. Harnish, 71, of Willow Street, passed away on January 2, 2017 at Hospice & Community Care. He was the loving husband of the late Linda (Wakefield) Harnish who preceded him in death.
Born in Lancaster, PA., he was the son of the late Mearl Harnish, Sr. and Ida (Gainer) Harnish.
In his spare time, Robert enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, boating and scuba diving; but most of all he loved to spend time with family and friends.
He proudly served in the US Air Force
Robert is survived by brothers, Larry R. (husband of Ursula), Jerry L., Dennis H. and Jefferey R. (husband of Linda); sisters, Sandra J. Sample (wife of Harold), Bonnie G. Hatfield (wife of Joseph) and Sharon Harnish. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Mearl, Jr. and sister, Pamela Plotnick.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service at the DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 141 E. Orange St. Lancaster PA. 17602 on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 12:00 PM with the Rev. Guy Carrigan officiating. The family will receive visitors at 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private at Conestoga Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robert’s memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care P.O. Box 4125 Lancaster PA 17604.
