Robert E. Morley
Robert E. “Bob” Morley, 79, entered Heaven on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, joining the love of his life, Patricia.
Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Joseph Morley and Kathleen Eckenrode, and grew up to be an avid Orioles fan. Bob spent 6 years in the Army National Guard, receiving the General Thomas J. Stewart Medal, Expert Carbine Badge, and the Sharpshooter Badge.
Bob worked for 45 years as a grocery manager at Giant Foods, Pantry Pride, and Food Fair. After retirement, he cared for his beloved wife for 28 years, until her death in 2016.
Surviving is a sister in law, Deb Landis, and brother in law, Tim Hippo, of Lancaster.
Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend a Graveside Service on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11 AM at Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 2nd Lock Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603 with the Rev. Mark Russell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob’s honor may be made to the Salvation Army, 131 S. Queen St., Lancaster, PA 17603.
