Robert L. Myers, Jr., 64, of Lancaster, died on Friday, March 27, 2009.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Robert L., Sr. and Janet Rote Myers.
Mr. Myers had been employed by the U.S. Postal Service for many years. He was a graduate of J. P. McCaskey High School class of 1962 and had been involved with the Alumni Association of the school. He enjoyed traveling to South Dakota on many occasions.
Surviving is a niece, Deirdre Garcia, and a brother-in-law, David L. Brubaker. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy L. Brubaker.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA with the Rev. William P. Worley officiating. Private interment in Conestoga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602.
