Robert S. Mathews
Robert S. Mathews, 75, a long-time resident of Lancaster County, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Port Carbon, PA he was the son of the late Albert J. and Anna (Ziegler) Mathews.
After proudly serving in the United States Navy he spent much of his career with R.R. Donnelley retiring as a proofreader.
He is survived by his sister, Bonnie L. Schuler (wife of Gregg), a nephew Jonathan Schuler (husband of Meredith), and a niece Erin Bavington (wife of Brent). Also surviving are great nephews Graham Schuler and Beckett Bavington and a great niece Quinn Schuler. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
