Ronald B. Boscow, 77, of Willow Street, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Willow Valley Retirement Community.

Ron was born in Portland, Oregon, on October 8, 1936. He graduated from Walla Walla High School, Walla Walla, Washington, and continued on to the University of Pennsylvania and Washington State University, receiving his Pharmacy Degree in 1959.

Ron was married to his high school sweetheart Carol Lee Lutton on February 8, 1955; they were married 59 years.

After spending his early working career in pharmacy and drug store retailing, Ron worked as a financial advisor and branch manager for Investors Diversified Services for many years.

He then became a wholesaler of financial services products for McGuinness and Associates, and eventually formed his own company, Boscow Brokerage Insurance Agency, in Scituate, MA.

He enjoyed following Boston sports teams, classical music, travelling worldwide and playing golf. He was totally devoted to his family and was always at his wife’s side.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Carol, a son Randy and his wife Lori of Leavenworth, WA; a daughter Shannon and her husband Paul of Lancaster, PA; a son Bill and his wife Kimberly of Winnetka, IL; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 step-sisters and other family and friends.

Ron is preceded in death by his father William Boscow, his mother Roberta Van Vranken Lucas, his stepmother Marie Boscow, and his stepfather Frank Lucas.

A service celebrating his life will be held at 5:00 pm, Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 E. Roseville Rd. Lancaster, PA, with The Rev. Dr. Ann Osborne officiating. Visitation with the family will be held immediately prior to the service beginning at 4:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603, or the Fulton Theater, 12 N. Prince St., Lancaster, PA 17603.
