Ronald Ray Aument
Ronald Ray Aument, 78, of Lancaster, passed away on June 6, 2017 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Lancaster on February 1, 1939, the son of the late Ray C. Aument, Sr. and Emma (Harnish) Aument, and the husband of Harriett (Puckett) Aument.
Ron was retired from Edgecomb Steel in York, PA. Ron was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Sports teams and he enjoyed singing. He was a dedicated follower of Christ and a member of Grace Community Church of Willow Street.
In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by four daughters, Stephanie Aberlack, Denise Wilkes, Diana Mathiot, and Deborah Pfender and three sons, Steven Gagnon, Jerome Gagnon, and Ronald Aument, Jr., as well as a sister, Ann Ressel (Gary), Lancaster, and four brothers: Donald (Lucille), Bradenton, FL, Michael (Debbie), Etters, PA, Patrick (Beverly), Tampa, FL, and Ray, Jr. (Lori), Lancaster, PA. He was preceded in death by a son, René Gagnon and a sister, Sharon Barrett.
Relatives and friends are respectively invited to attend a memorial service at Grace Community Church, 212 Peach Bottom Road, Willow Street, on Wednesday, June 14 at 4:00 PM. Friends may greet the family from 3:00 PM until the time of service.
