Rosemarie A. Diosegy, 82, of Lancaster, died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster County. She was the wife of the late William C. Diosegy who died in 1991. Born in Duquesne, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Irene Petro Voivoda. Rosemarie was employed for many years as a staff liaison in the 16th U.S. Congressional District Office, working with Congressmen Edward Eshleman and Robert Walker. She was active in the Republican Party and a member of the Republican Club of Lancaster. Earlier in life she had served on the board of the Single County Authority which was a drug and alcohol rehab program. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and the Order of the Eastern Star. Her interests included politics, traveling, bingo and following the Pittsburgh Steelers. Surviving are two daughters, Arlene J. Diosegy wife of William Morley of Durham, NC, and Paula wife of Art Hohman of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Corey Mansfield, Lauren Morley and Michael Morley; a brother, John husband of Florence Voivoda of Ashburn, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Joan Sovich. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 750 Greenfield Road, Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Mark L. Russell officiating.
