Ruth B. Campbell
Ruth B. Campbell, 76, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away at the home of her daughter on August 8, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late Huber and Mary Sauder Oberholtzer and the wife of the late Richard Campbell.
A graduate of Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing she also received her BS in Nursing from Millersville. Through the years she worked at Lancaster General Hospital, Associates Real Estate, and most recently, Belk Department store.
Her hobbies included playing bridge, golf and farkle, and spending time with friends at happy hour.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by her daughter, Rebecca, wife of John Scheuer and grandson Evan Patrick Scheuer of Narvon; one brother, Vernon, husband of Dorothy Oberholtzer of Haddonfield, NJ, and two sisters, Reba, wife of Richard E. Campbell of Lititz and Marian, wife of Cloy Risser of Mountville, PA. She was predeceased by three brothers, Raymond, Earl and Marvin Oberholtzer and two sisters, Esther Oberholtzer and Marian Shaffner.
Ruth will always be remembered for her generous spirit, determination, and courage.
