Shirley B. Hall

Shirley B. Hall, 76, of Lancaster, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 13, 2011 at her home.

She was married 52 years to the late Joseph L. Hall who died August 3, 2011. Born in Millersville, she was raised by her aunt and uncle the late Howard E. and Florence E. Greider and by her grandmother the late Lizzie H. Barr.

Shirley was a homemaker. She was a 1953 graduate of Hempfield High School. Her interests included knitting, crocheting, and bowling in the Sparklers Lanes at Leisure Lanes for 40 years. Over the years Shirley had been involved with many craft shows.

Surviving is a daughter, Kathy Jo wife of Todd L. Jack of Landisville; a son, Jeffrey Lee husband of Rita C. Hall of Rehrersburg; four grandchildren; and a cousin, Jere husband of Cookie Greider of Columbia.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Richard A. Sheetz Funeral Home, 2024 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Daniel F. Derk officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the East Hempfield Township Police Dept.
