Stephen W. Wiley

Stephen W. Wiley, 71, of Lancaster, passed away on December 22, 2024 at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. He was the loving husband of Pamela (Smeltz) Wiley. Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of William Wiley and Joan (Smith) Beitz.

After graduating from Solanco High School, Steve graduated from Temple University School of Pharmacy. 

His professional career in his earlier years included Lancaster General Hospital, Hershey Medical Center and Rite Aid. He later founded Wiley’s Pharmacy, which he proudly owned and operated for 30 years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed skiing, sailing, and relaxing in Hilton Head, South Carolina. He was also a member of Hempfield United Methodist Church and was active in the community and volunteered for the following committees: Samaritan Counseling Center, Crossroads Counseling, NCPA and LCPA.

In addition to his wife, Pamela, and his mother, Joan, he is survived by his children; Kimberly Liberatiscioli (wife of Andrew), Brandon Wiley (husband of Jennifer); and four granddaughters, Olivia, Ariana, Noemi and Emma. Also surviving are his siblings, Julia Stevens, Mark Wiley, John Wiley, Jonathan Wiley and step-sister, Kelly Snyder. He was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Wiley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Hempfield United Methodist Church, 3050 Marietta Ave, Lancaster, PA 17601 on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 12:00 PM. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
