Terry L. Myers, 53, of Lancaster passed away at home on Sunday December 18 surrounded by his wife and sons. He was born November 30, 1963 in Lewistown, PA to Margaret and the late Ira Myers. Married to Ann (Searer) Myers for 30 years, they have 2 sons, Andrew and Matthew. Terry was active at First United Methodist Church (Lancaster). He helped with the youth program and loved being a DJ for Upward Basketball ministry. He will always be known for his ever-present smile, his optimistic outlook, and constant sense of gratitude throughout his life, even during his illness. Terry loved the Lord, was strong in his faith and always encouraged others in their spiritual journey. He loved his dogs, especially Tiki. He worked for 20 years with Ream Jewelers and was last employed by Golden Living Center in Lancaster as maintenance supervisor.
In addition to his mother, wife and sons, he is survived by a brother, Jim (husband of Pam Myers) of Titusville, FL; sister, Gwen (wife of George Henry) of Reedsville, PA; mother-in-law, Vivian Searer of Lewistown, PA; nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service in First United Methodist Church, corner of Duke and Walnut Streets, Lancaster, PA 17602, on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 3:00PM. Family will greet friends at the church on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 2:00PM until the time of service. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
