Theodore H. Clark

Theodore H. Clark, 90, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at The Glen at Willow Valley Retirement Communities.  He was the loving husband of Betsy J. Clark to whom he was married for 65 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he graduated from Susquehanna University with a bachelor’s degree followed by a master’s degree from the University of Delaware.  He did further graduate studies at Florida State University and the University of Indiana, and retired after 35 years with the Brandywine School District in Wilmington, DE.

Ted was an active member of Chester Bethel United Methodist Church in Wilmington and an elder at the First Presbyterian Church in Strasburg. One of his great joys was music and he sang in various  church choirs for over 60 years.

In addition to his wife Betsy, he is survived by his daughter Karen Hoover, her husband Robert, and daughter-in-law Sherry Early Clark.  He was predeceased by his son John Christian Clark.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at First Presbyterian Church, 101 S Decatur St, Strasburg, PA 17579 on

.  Interment will occur prior to the service at Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery, 399 E Penn Grant Road, Willow Street, PA 17584 at

11:00 AM

.  Following the service friends are invited to join the family in Fellowship Hall for light refreshments.
