Timothy Lee Hougendobler, 59, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late William H., Sr. and Ella Ritnz Hougendobler.
Timothy was employed as a driver by Bob Holiday Used Cars of Lancaster. He was an avid member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #372 in Columbia, where he proudly held the position of Sergeant at Arms. He was a volunteer of the Southern Manheim Township Fire Company and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for many years. He enjoyed car show events and was a member of the Susquehanna Valley Model A Antique Car Club, and recently was made an Honorary Member of the Keystone Region Vintage Chevrolet Car Club.
He is survived by two brothers William H. Hougendobler, Jr., and James B. Hougendobler, both of Lancaster, and by dear friend John H. Miller, also of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his sister Darlene Marie Hougendobler.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral from Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Saturday, October 27th at 10:30 A.M. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
