Velma C. Deering

Velma C. Deering, 90, of Landisville, passed away on May 16th, 2018 at her home.  She was the loving wife of Arthur L. Deering to whom she would have celebrated 71 years of marriage in October.  Born in Ebensburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Julia (Spinner) Willebran.

She dedicated her to life to her family as a homemaker and spent much of her spare time reading, gardening, cooking and playing bingo.

She was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.

In addition to her husband, Arthur, she is survived by three children, Cheryl Hartman (wife of Jeff) of Landisville, PA, Pamela Geisler (wife of Robert) of Maitland, FL and Robert Deering (husband of Lauren) of Jersey Mills, PA.  Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions in Velma’s name may be made to:   American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603 or to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O.
