Virginia “Ginny” A. Mosebach, 94, of Lancaster, PA, passed away September 9, 2018 at Homestead Village. She was the wife of the late Carl H. Mosebach
Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Vincent A. and Myrtle J. (Moffett) Smith.
Mrs. Mosebach was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, and Musical Art Society of Lancaster. She was a composer, seamstress and greatly enjoyed cooking for her family. Throughout Virginia’s life, countless people were blessed by her beautiful piano playing.
For many years, she worked as a sales associate at Watt & Shand department store in Lancaster.
She is survived by 4 children: Nancy Smith (wife of M. James); Karen McQuate (wife of Allen); Joani Greiner (wife of Ty); Eric Mosebach (husband of Donna); 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Carl (husband of Flossie).
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 on Friday, September 14, 2018 with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 AM. An open casket viewing will be held at the church on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Private burial will occur Friday morning at Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
