Virginia “Ginny” Mae Teel entered into rest August 25th, 2022 at Marliere Care Center in Hudson, Florida. She was born in Lancaster County Pennsylvania on August 13,1936 to Mabel and Andrew Byerly, and lived in Lancaster County before moving to Hudson Florida in 2014.She worked at the Springhouse Restaurant for many years before retiring to take care of her husband.
She enjoyed cooking and working in her flowerbeds and yard. She often traveled to Kentucky and Indiana to visit her beloved family.
Ginny is preceded in death by her husband Eldon Teel, daughter Sue Nell Tout, brothers Andrew Byerly, Charles Byerly, and Jay Martin Byerly SFC US Army killed in action in Vietnam in 1970, and sisters Grace Geyer, Mabel Zeers and Alva Randazzo.
She is survived by her sister Ruth Sload, son-in-law Ross Tout, and grandchildren Michelle Corcoran and John C. Summers Jr.
Services will be private.
