Weldon G. See, 81, of Landisville, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. He was the husband of the late Catharine E. (Maurer) See, and was the son of William and Pauline (Stauffer) See.
Weldon retired from the Hempfield School District. He enjoyed boating, traveling, car races, Hershey Bears Hockey, fishing, hunting, reading, and country & gospel music. He was best known for his exceptional wood-working skills, and his sense-of-humor.
He is survived by his 3 daughters; Sharon, wife of Tim Fickes of Lancaster, Jean, wife of the late Jim Stauffer of Peach Bottom, and Susan Bair, friend of Dave Anderson of New Mexico; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Anna Harvey of Lancaster, and a brother Albert See of Gap.
A Memorial Service will be held at Faith United Methodist Church, 1290 Fruitville Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 4:30 P.M., with a visitation time from 4:00 PM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125 or to Faith United Methodist Church at the address listed above.
