William C. Fry

William C. Fry, 82, of Lancaster, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016.     He was married 55 years to Karen Scholz Fry.  Born in Conestoga, he was the son of the late Ralph and Barbara Groff Fry.     William was a 1953 graduate of Penn Manor High School and had worked for many years as a machinist at Thomson Corporation.  Earlier in life he had worked at the former Hershey’s Exxon.     He was a member of the Safe Harbor United Methodist Church. An avid car enthusiast, he was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America.  He enjoyed collecting and selling automotive memorabilia.     Surviving besides his wife are two sons, William C. Fry, Jr. of Lancaster, and Jonathan husband of Desa Fry of Millersville; a daughter, Barbara wife of Neil Schuetrumpf of Wrightsville; and five grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother Robert G. Fry and by a sister Jessie Gundaker.     A Memorial Service will be held on

Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00 A.M.

at the Safe Harbor United Methodist Church, 3687 River Road, Conestoga, PA. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Safe Harbor United Methodist Church.
