William C. Sidebothom, 83, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Hospice & Community Care. He was the loving husband of Ann E. (Nagle) Sidebothom. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late William and Ethel (Cosgrove) Sidebothom.
Following his schooling, William spent much of his career as an Industrial Engineer
In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking of all types, and camping with various organizations such as the Keystone Travelers.
He was a faithful attendee of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Lancaster since 2010.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Timothy (husband of Rachel M.) and nephews, William R. Wood, Robert W. Wood, Harold ”Rick” Chappell, Kenneth Chappell and nieces, Ruth Wolford and Donna (Chappell) Downing. He was predeceased by his son, Mark, and daughter, Kimberly.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a viewing at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601, on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., also at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Michael A. Rogers officiating. A private interment will follow the memorial service in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Radio Ministry at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601.
