William H. Springer, 92, a resident of Arbor View at Willow Valley died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the home.
He was the husband of the late A. Rosella Himmelsbach Springer who died January 26, 2011. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Harry C. and Estella M. Wagner Springer.
Mr. Springer was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Mr. Springer was a tool and die maker and retired from New Standard Corp. Prior to that, he had worked at RCA and Schick. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Surviving is a son, William J. Springer of Myrtle Beach, SC.
A Christian Prayer Service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Norman C. Hohenwarter, Jr. officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery.
