Willis R. Erb

Willis R. Erb of Lancaster, passed away at the age of 91 on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Hospice & Community Care. Born in Christiana PA, he was the son of the late Harlan and Beatrice (Rutter) Erb. Willis is survived by his wife, Joan, his daughters, Kathy and Martha, three Grandsons, one Great Grandson and a Great Granddaughter who will be arriving soon. Willis loved spending time with his family, including numerous vacations with his three grandsons.

Willis served 4 years in the US Army during WWII as a Military Police Officer, and returned to spend much of his career working for ALCOA.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602, on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Friends may greet the family beginning at 10:00 A.M.  Interment will be at Conestoga Memorial Park immediately following the service with Military Honors.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Willis’s memory may be made to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
